- Current Sewer Charges Due – the sewer service charge for the current billing period.
- Additional Sewer Service Charges – any additional service charges applied to your account.
- Misc. Sewer Charge – miscellaneous charges, if any.

- Previous Balance – the amount carried over from your last statement.
- Payments Received – payments applied since your last statement. Payments received after the last day of the month are not reflected on this bill.

- Total Amount Due – the total you owe.
The bottom portion of the statement is a remittance stub showing the amount paid. Please return that portion with your payment.
Explanation of Fees
Change of Address
The property owner (as shown on the records of the County) is responsible to pay all fees and charges on the billing statement. If there is a change in ownership, the property owner shall notify the District of any change in ownership within 15 days. If an owner fails to make a request for a refund of a credit balance within sixty (60) days after a change in ownership, the District will retain the credit balance to compensate the District for administrative costs incurred to investigate the ownership of the property.
Return Check Fee
A $20.00 fee will be assessed on all returned checks, plus any additional fee as allowed by law.
Interest and Late Fees
The District will charge simple interest on any past due fee or charge at the rate of 18% per annum (1.5% per month). Interest will be compounded annually. The District will also charge a one-time administrative fee equal to 8% of any past due fee prior to certification.
Certification
Any account more than two months delinquent may be certified with the County Treasurer for collection with your property taxes. Any amount certified becomes a lien on your property. No advance notice will be provided prior to certification, other than your monthly billing statements stating the past due amount.
Online Payments
The District has entered an agreement with Xpress Bill Pay to process online payments without charge to District patrons. You will find Xpress Bill Pay on the District’s Pay My Bill page. There may be other entities that advertise a payment service. If you utilize any other service, you may be required to pay a fee, and the District makes no assurance that the payment will actually be received by the District or that the payment, if received, will be timely.
