Jordan Basin Water Reclamation Facility
The Jordan Basin Water Reclamation Facility (JBWRF) began construction in 2009. Two years of planning and design preceded its construction in order to facilitate the needs of the continuous growth of the southern end of the valley. The JBWRF was designed with future needs in consideration. The facility utilizes state-of-the-art membrane technology in order to ensure the facility will maintain the ever improving standards of water quality in Utah. The GE Zenon technology allows the JBWRF to produce water that is ready for use in secondary irrigation systems. Also, we utilize Ultra Violet light as a safe means of disinfection of all the water that passes through the facility. The construction of the plant accounted for future growth, eliminating the need for costly expansion in the near future. For more information on the facility, we invite you to contact us and to browse this site for more education on wastewater treatment.
